://SIGHTSEEING - kinda failed/kinda cool

So we went sightseeing and started in Manhatten. We tried the Citybus line for the 1st and I guess the last time. We thought it would be a nice and fast way to see many of the famous spots in NYC without walking around in the heat...it started out great, and we got fresh air upon deck, but that fresh air did not last long. After half the route, the traffic stood so still and it was too hot, so we got off Rockefeller and went to eat instead. We choose the wrong time and weather for this type of sightseeing. Thankfully, I had the best company ever, so it all made it a memorable one despite all these things. I even got surprised with a birthday song and cheesecake by the TGIF crew. After that we thought to give the bus a 2nd try, but it failed again so we got off Times Square and then decided to go shopping in SOHO instead.
