://SECRET Santa.

Me and my group of close friends continued our tradition of Secret Santa this Christmas. We've been doing this for a some years now and for a group of close friends, and all the expenses that goes with Christmas, this is a nice way for us to celebrate Christmas and keep the idea of giving gifts still symbolic. Sometimes Christmas is too much about getting the best, the most expensive or extravagant gifts when you hear and see how people stress themselves in and out of shops.

://XMAS gifts.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Xmas celebration with family, friends and good food. This year's celebration has been very relaxed and I like it that way. I've received very generous gifts this year. I'm so blessed! Thank you again!

Today, me and my bf went to town and I got pick my Christmas presents from him! I've been eying these two pieces for such a long time...such nice additions to my wardrobe. Simple and classic pieces.

://BC XMAS party

Here are some snapshots from the Christmas party with my close friends. The Bruri Council Christmas party has now turned into an annual thing, and it's a tradition I welcome dearly. Now we have expanded a bit and invited our close friends as well, and it was nice to have the girls with as well and Bruri Council's partners and family.

Everyone dressed up nicely and we met up at Radisson Plaza and ate the Skybar at a separate private dining room with two long tables and a nice view of Oslo at the top. After the dinner we headed to my friends appartment and continued the party there. It was an awesome night!













Thanks for a great party!!! Can't wait to next time!

://Dressing up 4 XMAS PARTIES.

December is a festive season with all the Christmas parties in different settings weither it's with work or friends. I've attended three so far, the last one is in January. For me I think this is the  time of the year wear we dress up the most. 

I had these two outfits in mind for last Saturday's Christmas party - and ended up with the skirt and printed coat.


Budget friendly outfits from H&M and Zara from different seasons

As always, sometimes an outfit you make up in your head does not always work and there are moments you regret not buying the one dress or whatever you saw because you think "I'll think I have something I can use at home...". Thank God I've gotten smarter and have bought the must have staples in a wardrobe - black top, black skirt, black pants and black pumps. They can then be combined in different ways all over again or just acquire some new accessories so you can feel a little bit "renewed".

NEW IN: "Design with light" lamps from Holmegaard. Designed by Maria Berntsen. They give a nice light and I really like the simplicity of the design. Simple perfection.

://B-DINNER part#2

We also celebrated my bf's birthday with a dinnerparty with just the family. Made food for 10 people and it was another nice evening with good food and people.

ON THE MENU:
Beef steak w/baked sweet potatoes, roasted asparagus and carrots served with gravy
Mussels steamed in white wine and cream sauce
Whipped raspberry cream with fresh berries, crushed crackers and chocolate

://B-DAY DINNER part#1

Emma surprised Deck with a dinner at Jonoe, since he have not had the chance to eat there untill last Friday. It was the start of a weekend full of good food! Fer and Eily joined as well.

David set up three types of courses served one at the time. It was really nice as always!
